The Center for Clinical Epidemiology & Population Health (CCEPH)’s, Robert Greenlee, Ph.D., M.P.H., Connect principal investigator and senior research scientist at Marshfield Clinic Research Institute and Team members Tammy Ellis and Roxy Eibergen, were joined by one of Marshfield’s Participant Advisory Board members, Peggy Buchda, for the Connect for Cancer Prevention Annual Meeting hosted by the National Cancer Institute in Rockville MD, Oct 3-4.


Dr. Greenlee chaired presentations identifying tested strategies to expand enrollment and to identify new approaches to pilot. Discussion included recruitment and retention strategies and the return of information to study participants. Marshfield joined 9 other health care organizations from across the county with the aims to recruit over 200,000 people aged 40-65 with no history of cancer, which will be expanded to include people aged 30-70 years old in 2024.
