The goal of the UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) is to create an environment that transforms research into a continuum from investigation through discovery and to translation into real-life community practice, thereby linking even the most basic research to practical improvements in human health.
Since 2007, Marshfield Clinic Research Institute (MCRI) has partnered with UW-Madison to facilitate the translation of research findings into clinical practice and evidence-based policies that improve the health of communities in Wisconsin and nationwide. As part of the ICTR collaboration, MCRI can provide consultation on collaborator partnering, study design, biostatistics, stakeholder engagement, dissemination & implementation, and feasibility data. ICTR activities are CTSA grant-funded through NCATS. ICTR is one of 58 CTSA Program hubs currently active nationwide.
