Wisconsin’s largest newspaper visited Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield and published an article about Bardet-Biedl syndrome that featured recently retired Dr. Robert Haws.

Health reporter Mark Johnson interviewed Dr. Haws and a family from South Carolina who was in Marshfield for BBS-related medical appointments for their child. Dr. Haws retired May 13 as a pediatric nephrologist, center director of the Clinical Research Center at Marshfield Clinic Research Institute and director of the Center of Excellence for Bardet-Biedl Syndrome. He had been with Marshfield Clinic Health System for 18 years.
