Statement

Dr. Petrie is an infectious disease epidemiologist and Associate Research Scientist in the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Population Health at the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute. His research focuses on the epidemiology and transmission influenza, SARS-CoV-2, and other respiratory viruses. This has included studies of vaccine effectiveness, the duration of vaccine induced protection, and immune correlates of protection. His current projects are focused on the incidence, clinical outcomes, and molecular epidemiology of hospital-associated respiratory virus infections.
