Statement


Mr. Pilz devotes his technical expertise toward developing and enhancing a multitude of research-centric applications and websites. With a natural drive to create and innovate—including as a three-time grand prize winning Intel app innovator—Matt strides to remain at the forefront of this everevolving world of technology. Matt's specialized computing interests include educational and entertainment-based mobile app development, interactive usability analysis and accessible website design. Additional areas of focus include data visualization and emerging platforms such as augmented and virtual reality design methodologies.

Research Interests


Born and raised in small-town Wisconsin, Matt has experienced the unique blend of rural and agriculture-driven communities juxtaposed with advanced medical and research-based initiatives by Marshfield Clinic Health System. With an AAS, BS and various certificates and diplomas in programming and web-based technologies, Matt supplies professional experience across a diverse range of technical topics. For more than 15 years, Matt has directly contributed toward health and research-related causes including for Center for Community Health Advancement, Corporate Communications and National Farm Medicine Center. Recently he has developed a number of unique concepts including an augmented reality prototype for emergency responders on rural farms. Matt continues to maintain numerous research projects including AgInjuryNews.org, NFMCFarmMapper.com and SaferFarm.org.
