Dr. Nonnenmann is from Rock Island, IL. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a MS and PhD in Industrial Hygiene/Ergonomics and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist. Dr. Nonnenmann has blended his expertise in industrial hygiene air sampling and molecular biology to focus on innovative and novel approaches to measure, characterize and control bioaerosols in hospital and agricultural settings. He is the PI or co-Investigator on several university- and National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) - funded grants.
