The Marshfield Clinic Research Institute Oversight Board was established in June 2018 and oversees the research activities of the Research Institute.

The Oversight Board is comprised of 13 members, which are drawn from four stakeholder groups:

  • Marshfield Clinic physician class A members (four members).
  • Marshfield Clinic Health System leaders (three members).
  • Community members (five members).
  • Marshfield Clinic Research Institute scientist member (one member).

The executive director of the Research Institute serves as an ex-officio member. Board members are eligible to serve for two successive three-year terms. The Executive Committee of the Oversight Board consists of five members, including officers of the Oversight Board (chair, vice chair and secretary) and two at-large Oversight Board members.
